Cornea Observership Programme
The Cornea Observership Programme at AEDI, Gurugram is designed for ophthalmologists who wish to gain structured clinical exposure in cornea and anterior segment practice.
Participants will observe high-volume cornea OPD, diagnostic workup, corneal imaging, case discussions, surgical planning, and faculty-led clinical decision-making.

- Corneal infections and therapeutic keratoplasty
- Corneal transplantation: PK, DSEK, DMEK
- Keratoconus evaluation and C3R
- Ocular surface disorders and dry eye
- Refractive surgery evaluation and post-LASIK ectasia
- Specialty contact lenses
- Eye banking and corneal tissue utilization
What Participants Will Experience
The programme includes exposure to Cornea OPD, Keratoconus Clinic, Dry Eye Clinic, Specialty Contact Lens Clinic, surgical observation, academic discussions, and eye bank practices.
Participants may observe procedures such as PK, DSEK, DMEK, therapeutic keratoplasty, C3R, amniotic membrane transplantation, ocular surface reconstruction, and refractive procedures.
This observership offers real-world learning in diagnosis, treatment planning, surgical decision-making, and comprehensive corneal care.
