Dr. Priyanka Raj completed her MBBS (2007–2013) and M.S. (Ophthalmology) (2014–2017) from Darbhanga Medical College, Bihar. She later pursued a prestigious Long-Term Glaucoma Fellowship at the renowned Aravind Eye Hospital, Madurai (2018–2020). She is also a Fellow of the International Council of Ophthalmology (FICO) with a subspecialty qualification in glaucoma.

She has rich experience in managing all types of glaucoma- primary, secondary, and pediatric and performs a wide range of glaucoma surgeries including:

• Trabeculectomy
• Glaucoma drainage devices & implants
• Combined cataract–glaucoma surgeries (SICS-Trab, Phaco-Trab)
• Bleb needling
• Pediatric examinations under anesthesia
• Laser procedures: YAG PI, laser suture lysis, goniopuncture, diode CPC

She is also proficient in cataract surgery with over 300+ phacoemulsification procedures, and manages complex and high-risk cases with confidence.
Dr. Priyanka has authored articles in reputed journals on viral keratitis, keratoconus, and management of nucleus/cortex drop. She has presented multiple free papers and e-posters at national conferences including AIOC and has won distinctions such as a Gold Medal for free paper presentation.
She has participated in numerous conferences, workshops and training programs, consistently updating her skills in glaucoma and anterior segment care.
Her clinical interests include glaucoma surgery, complex cataract management, pediatric glaucoma and laser glaucoma therapy. She is committed to ethical, evidence-based, and compassionate patient care.
