Dr Maneesh Gupta completed his basic medical training from Maulana Azad Medical College, Delhi and his post-graduate training in ophthalmology from Guru Nanak Medical college. He obtained his training in orbit and oculoplasty from Aravind eye hospital, Madurai in 1999.

He has extensive experience in cataract surgeries, medical and surgical management of glaucoma, orbit and ocular plastic surgeries, management of eye cancers, squint surgeries, management of ocular trauma, etc.

He has done pioneering research work and has been the recipient of many accolades. He has presented his work in many state and national conferences.

His special interest is in the field of oculoplasty, specially in improving the predictability of ptosis repair.

He has been working with AEDI from 2000.
