Dr. Anushree Naidu is an accomplished Vitreoretinal Specialist with extensive expertise in the diagnosis and management of complex retinal disorders. She completed her M.B.B.S. from Lokmanya Tilak Municipal Medical College & Sion General Hospital, followed by an M.D. in Ophthalmology from AIIMS Jodhpur. She later completed her fellowship in Vitreoretinal Surgery at Shroff Eye
Centre, New Delhi, under the mentorship of Dr. Cyrus Shroff.

At present, she is:

• Consultant, Vitreo-Retina at Ahooja Eye & Dental Institute, Gurugram (since 2022)

She has performed and assisted in a wide range of vitreoretinal procedures and has extensive hands-on experience with:

• Intravitreal injections
• Pan-retinal photocoagulation
• Focal and barrage laser treatments
• Management of diabetic retinopathy, retinal vascular diseases, macular disorders, and retinal detachments

Dr. Naidu is actively involved in clinical research and has published her work in reputed journals, including the Indian Journal of Ophthalmology. She has contributed book chapters such as “Binocular Functions” in the IntechOpen volume on Eye Motility.
She has presented posters, free papers, and surgical videos at premier national and international conferences including EURETINA, RANZCO, APAO-AIOS, AIOC, VRSI, and other state-level forums. Her academic work has been recognized with awards such as the Best Poster Podium Presentation Award at AIOS-APAO 2025.
A strong advocate for medical education, Dr. Naidu frequently serves as faculty for national workshops and CMEs, including training programs on intravitreal injections, anterior and core vitrectomy skill labs, and OCT-Angiography teaching sessions. She has also held leadership roles, notably as the Joint Organizing Secretary for the Pan-India Diabetic Retinopathy Screening Project
at AIIMS Jodhpur.
